Do I need permits for Arunachal Pradesh?
Indians need an Inner Line Permit (ILP); foreigners need a Protected Area Permit (PAP) plus their visa. PAPs are issued only to groups of two or more, by an authorized tour operator — we hold the licence. Allow 30 days for foreign PAP processing.
When is the best time to visit Arunachal?
October-April for clear weather. Tawang is best October-March. Ziro's Apatani fields are most photogenic in September after the harvest. Mechuka is reachable November-March; the road in is monsoon-shut June-September.
How do I reach Arunachal?
